Hollywood is full of power couples, but we don't give enough credit to stars who have chosen to be single and are thriving. Sure, being associated with another big name just makes your stock rise higher. David and Victoria Beckham are one example of mega-stars who were huge in their own right but became even more famous after dating and then marrying each other. Despite red flags that we can't ignore in David and Victoria's relationship, the two remain devoted to each other.

Of course, when you're single, you don't have to deal with the public gossiping about your love life, and there are plenty of other reasons flying solo is beneficial — such as being free to live your life the way you want. "On many levels, there's mental health benefits of feeling free to drive your life. It's empowering. And in many ways, a much more straightforward way to live than people who are not single," therapist Bonnie Scott told Business Insider. And, just because certain celebrities aren't hitched, it doesn't mean they're lonely. Many of them have children and a big group of friends for support. Whether they're done with love or just content being alone, these celebs are happily single and not ready to mingle.

Diane Keaton has been linked to A-list names like Warren Beaty and Al Pacino but don't expect her to be paired up with anyone else soon. When asked by InStyle in 2018 whether she gets asked out, Keaton replied, "Never. All right? Let's just get that straight. That one's important. I haven't been on a date in, I would say, 35 years. No dates." The "Something's Gotta Give" star added, "I have a lot of male friends. I have a lot of friends, but no dates. No mwah-mwah."

Keaton revealed to Interview that the reason she chose not to get married was because she saw how much her mother gave up to be a wife and raise four kids. "I mentioned watching her get that crowning glory and being Mrs. Highland Park. After that, we moved down to Santa Ana, and it was over. There was no more trying things out. I feel like she chose family over her dreams," she stated. Keaton then cheekily added, "By the way, no one has ever asked me to marry them, either, so that might be a good answer. I should've started with that and called it a day."

Jennifer Aniston's love life, as well asher stunning hair transformation, has been analyzed under a microscope since she became a breakout star in "Friends." While she's dated famous faces likeTate Donovan and Counting Crow singer Adam Duritz, it wasn't until she was paired with Brad Pitt that fans started to see Aniston in a whole new light. Unfortunately, as we all know, their marriage did not end happily ever after but Aniston found love again with Justin Theroux. That, too, failed after less than three of Aniston and the "Tropic Thunder" actor as husband and wife.

After two marriages, Aniston is not looking to walk down the aisle again. "Never say never, but I don't have any interest," she shared withAllure. The "Along Came Polly" star continued, "I'd love a relationship. Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, 'I need support.' It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody's arms and say, 'That was a tough day.'" Aniston also admitted that she had to do a lot of work on herself and had issues with intimacy, which is not necessarily a bad thing. "I've realized you will always be working on stuff. I am a constant work in progress. Thank God. How uninteresting would life be if we all achieved enlightenment and that was it," she mused.

Khloé Kardashian has had a drama-filled relationship with the father of her two children, Tristan Thompson, before finally breaking up for good in 2019. Since then, the reality star has been in her single-girl era and isn't even pursuing the idea of a relationship. "That's my time. I'm not sharing it with a man. I'm not sharing my TV, I'm not sharing my bed!" she told Scott Disick in an episode of "The Kardashians" (via People). While she has no plans to be alone forever, Kardashian shared that dating as a single mom is daunting. "I have no idea how you're supposed to date with kids because I'm not bringing you to my home where my kids are, and I'm not going to your home where you're gonna chop me up in your basem*nt and kill me," she stated to the cameras.

In April, a source revealed to Entertainment Tonightthat Kardashian has more important things to worry about than a relationship. "She isn't focused on dating and doesn't want any outside distractions right now. Family always comes first for her and she is happy with where she's at in her life," the insider stated. Running a clothing empire, starring in a reality show, and raising two young kids does sound like enough of a handful without adding dating to the mix.

Tracee Ellis Ross has been asked about marriage and children plenty of times, and she wants to stray from the narrative that women have to have those things to be fulfilled. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the "Blackish" star stated, "Here's the thing. I'm the chooser, and I can choose to get married if I want to, but in the meantime, I am choicefully single. Happily, gloriously single." Later in her chat with the host, Ross listed her requirements for the perfect man. Among being a good hugger, she shared, "I feel safe that he's trustworthy, that we're equal partners, and there's equity in our relationship. That we both get to negotiate our partnership, not by the standards of what the culture says but instead about what's important to us about connection and relationship."

Ross grew up wanting marriage and kids but has since changed her tune. "Our society spoon-feeds it to you. I used to put myself to sleep dreaming of my wedding. And I would still love all of that, but what am I going to do, just sit around waiting? Shut up. I've got so many things to do," she told Marie Claire.

Don't call Teri Hatcher a desperate housewife! The twice-married and divorced mom of one is content with singledom. "There is a difference between being lonely and being alone. I have been single for a very long time, but there is nothing lonely about my life. I want to remove the stigma of that," the "Lois & Clark" star told Peopleafter her 55th birthday in 2019. "Many women who get divorced will not get remarried. That kind of sounds depressing but it doesn't have to be. Many women are not just surviving alone, they're thriving," Hatcher went on to say.

That's not to say that Hatcher didn't try dating, which unfortunately didn't pan out for her. While on "Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone," she revealed that she made a Hinge account but got booted because the dating app thought her profile was fake. "They thought I was pretending to be Teri Hatcher," the actor shared. The experience made Hatcher quit dating apps but she's fine with that. "I have a really full life, a really busy life. I have beautiful friends. I, you know, it's fine. I don't need a man. I have a cat," she told the Australian chef. Perhaps Hatcher would have had better luck with Raya.
