UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3200.

“Selling my 1952 Korean war military M38 jeep. Runs very good and shifts fine. Engine does smoke but has 12-13 p.s.i. oil pressure at idle warm so I suspect valve guide seals are in order. See compressions below. Many new parts including brake master cylinder, all wheel cylinders and pre bent brake line kit. ($250.00) Brakes work great! New correct fuel tank ($450.00) Original included with purchase. 12 volt, 3 wire alternator conversion. New12 volt gauge package. Ammeter, temperature, fuel gage and oil pressure all work. New head gasket with cylinders inspected with no scoring or cracks. Mating surfaces hand stoned and new high quality fel-pro gasket installed. Compressions are 110, 110,110, 106 respectively.Engine has original overhaul tag still installed as shown. A lot of stuff goes with this towards restoration. Has a 24 volt wiper motor installed that does work if hooked up but it is a little slow as it is now a 12 volt system.

Front floor boards do have some rust but it is in no means a “Flintstones Mobile”. Rear floor is good. Cowl battery box is in great shape. There is a small rust spot below driver’s door as seen. Ex Air Force “Personnel Services” jeep that was than delivered to the Civil Air Patrol. It has been modified to except a civilian top. Even has a heater that works great!! Comes with the 5-15″ civilian tires and wheels that are on it, plus 6-16″ military wheels as shown in the pictures. There is NO body filler on this and only very minor dents. Windshield glass is in like new condition with no fading. Paint is ugly but if you have some imagination you can see the potential. Frame and bumpers are in great shape but the front will need minor straightening. All lights are working as they should, including “Black out” marker lights but the right rear tail light is wired to the left so that they both work at the same time versus the military configuration that only one side worked at a time depending on the light switch position. Horn is functional but not connected as it is missing the rod that goes in the steering column. Can easily be made as the specs are on the interweb. This is one fun vehicle to drive! Be the first one on your block to have one!! Sold with bill of sale only.”

Has a fiberglass body and 2A windshield.

“Very good condition with original four cylinder engine that is strong and fast. Rebuilt carburetor, new gas tank, exhaust system, completely rebuilt brake system and new tires and tubes. This is a WWII Jeep with a fiberglass tub and hood. The underside is solid with an excellent frame. “53 Willys CJ3B High Hood Flat fender Jeep. Original 4 cylinder with T-90 3 speed transmission. Dana 25 front end and Dana 44 rear end with 5:38 gears, twin stick 18 transfer case. Fresh brakes and tune up. Excellent Best-Top and doors. Aluminum wheels and great tires. Minimal rust, see pictures of floor, tailgate area and drivers side. Good glass.
Fantastic unmolested 63 year old survivor. Great opportunity for restoration or hit the trails and have some fun.”

“5 on 5 1/2 wheels rims slotted wheels. Ford jeep some dodge old school slotted mags. Makes a classic truck look the part.”

They appear to match in style, but will need some work to make them all look the same.

“1949 Willy’s CJ 2A with a Ford V8 in it. I believe the the engine needs rebuilt. The Jeep does not run. I have a clean Pink slip in hand and it is currently in non-op. The Tub is rusty and the seats need 100% redone. I’m asking $1,800 for this Jeep.”

(03/20/2016) Doesn’t run.

“1948 Willys CJ2 with extra seats and roll bar. Floor pan has some rust, windshield in good shape. Original engine, last started about 3 years ago. Motor turns freely, but I haven’t started it. Gas tank behind rear seat. Brush grille on front and tow bar installed. Was going to restore it, but don’t have the time or skills.”

“1946 Willys CJ2a. Motor turns over, tranny not locked up, does not like to shift. axles good as far as I can tell frame has patches on front. Has 5 good original wheels. Was going to build an off road only trailer queen but interests have wandered. I have new aluminum replacement radiator and good replacement for wind shield frame.”
